Wearing: Ray Ban Glasses, Keepsake The Label Top

This afternoon I sat and read my first digital issue of Vogue which Jonathan thoughtfully bought me as a Christmas gift along with my Macbook above.

I love digital magazines. The digital aspect provides me with an entirely new experience. I’m not saying it is necessarily better because I do love the feel of pages and dog earring my finds. But, for me the accessibility of digital content wins me over. It is transportable, it is convenient and wherever my computer is, my mini-library of magazines, e-books etc is there too. My chiropractor said this also benefits my back. NB: I don’t have a chiropractor, I am just self diagnosing.

The downside to digital magazines is the nightmare it is to get the files. They fail to offer the option of downloading the PDF’s so you have to download Zinio Reader and then an application to then open Zinio. It’s a bit of an annoyance, but great content usually makes up for this.

To the critics of digital magazines this sentence isn’t made for you. But to the people who love the inevitable evolution of magazines be sure to download Vogue (it is a 6 month subscription).
