Hey, Hey from Milton
I have spent the entire day eating and not intentionally either. However, when you’re in Milton there is just so many choices when it comes to cafes and restaurants (surprisingly) and it is all fresh, local produce. Because of this, it is hard to refuse anything on the menu; I just had to have that crème brûlée after lunch!
After our various cafe / restaurant pit stops we headed west of Milton to explore Croobyar, which is where Jonathan’s extended family originally lived in the late 1800’s. It’s vast farm land and not a great deal else, but it was amazing seeing where is Grandad grew up! It’s one thing to hear the stories, but it’s incredible to put a place to the name.
We had an appointment with the place we are getting married! We tasted some food (yes, more food). The below image and the vineyard images is our location. It is just so magical. I can not put into words just how happy we are about Cuppitts. I am sure I will be sharing more about our wedding in the coming months, but until then I hope you fall in love with it as well! It would be too hard not to, seriously.
We still have a few days left of our trip, which is fun! Over the next few days we’ll be covering some coastal towns north of here as we embark on the next section of our road trip, so be sure to keep checking in as I have a tonne of images to share!
