I can’t tell you how excited I am for Summer and for long days spent with friends in Bondi by the sea.

On Saturday a few friends and I made our way to Bondi to celebrate Summer with Sunglass Hut. Bondi is such a relaxing place and it was so nice to unwind with my besties by Icebergs Pool (I may or may not have consumed way too many coconuts #obsessed). Sunglass Hut had taken over the pool (be sure to check out the inflatables in my pics below), Dem Foxes were playing amazing tunes and everyone there was having such a great time!

I’ve come to realise I can’t go long without seeing the ocean or breathing in the salty air and come Summer, my wardrobe definitely reflects that – cue printed two pieces, jumpsuits, lace and statement sunglasses!  When it comes to Summer accessories, statement sunglasses always win and will add that little bit of fashion-girl to any outfit. This year it’s all about mirrored lenses like I am wearing in this post and round frames à la John Lennon. My biggest advice to nailing statement glasses is a) have fun matching or mis-matching your outfit b) ensure the sunglasses are UV rated c) use them to add colour or contrast to an outfit!

Summer is my favourite time of year because I love transitioning my wardrobe and accessories with the onset of warmer weather. I prefer lighter layers and Summer fabrics over heavy layers. I guess it reflects my personality more and how I was raised. I have packed away most of my Winter clothes and have finally started wearing more and more easy Summer pieces.

I’ll be heading to Bondi this Saturday at sundown for another surprise from Sunglass Hut, so be sure to stop by and say hi! Can’t wait to show you what they are up to! Follow along here #ELECTRIFYBONDI #ELECTRIFYSUMMER

White denim, nautical stripes, white on white, statement sunnies (I have my eyes on this Ray-Ban number) , and of course neckties – but more on that in weeks to come!
