The million dollar idea I had was to buy these $7 shorts from Kmart and wear them out of the house today pretending like they cost me $200. When buying them I chose a cashier who wouldn’t judge my shopping choices or think just because she heard me mention to Jonathan “I had pasta at two different times today” that elasticised, drawstring grey marle shorts were the only thing that fit me right now.

I know that $7 shorts aren’t for everyone, but I cannot enthusiastically emphasise enough the unbridled genius of them. Just so you’re aware, I am just going to ride out the rest of January wearing my most generous of shorts.
