Public holidays are awesome for getting a head start on things for the week.
It’s been so cold and rainy all weekend, so I have been completing a lot of things on my wedding to do list. Sometimes weekends with dismal weather is exactly what you need, so you can get shit done. I have updated the guest list, Jonathan is designing all of our branding / wedding website / invites etc, pulling inspiration for my dress designer, skyping my bridesmaid to show them their fabric and talk about my hens and a whole lot more.
Ah, excitation levels are about 1, 000 out of a possible 500.
We have got to be the most relaxed bride and groom in existence. We just want it to be a chilled out day and most importantly we just want to have fun. I don’t want there to be a big build up or to take over our lives in the lead up. It’s only one day and it is the marriage that matters at the end of the day. I also want to make sure that our wedding stays true to our aesthetic and personalities, so staying relaxed is a big part of that.
Our venue is so amazing. It’s a mix between Italy and France. A little winery which overlooks the hinterland, with the most spectacular sunset. It’s also close to the ocean, so it is the best of both worlds, really.
I think the next five months are going to be some of the most exciting of my live. It’s going to go extremely fast, I can just feel it. Lucky for us, we’re both super organised and we have a great support network from friends and family.
