Finding fresh inspiration for a new season can sometimes be tough, so I thought I would put together some new season’s favourites for you – It’s time to lighten your look for Spring
The long, dark winter is over (ha- that sounds so dramatic) and I am loving the weather Sydney has been offering lately. We even had a beach day over the weekend, which had me shedding layers and quickly jumping in and out of the water. I am such a sook when it comes to water temperature at the start of the season!
I love Spring, but sometimes it can be a little tricky to know what to wear and how to lighten your look post Winter. One minute it could be 30 degrees and the next we could be stuck in a wind tunnel / rain storm combo – we can quite literally experience four seasons in one day.

Flats And Sneakers
The Spring / Summer runway told us it’s all about comfortable shoes. That’s fine by me, I basically spend every other day in sneakers. My favourite at the moment are these all white sneakers from Topshop or a sportier style like a Nike Roshe.

White, white, white
The Spring/Summer 2015 runways were filled with a variety of gorgeous white hues. Get your hands on delicate lace, gorgeous dresses, shorts and even white leather.

It’s about as groundbreaking as florals in Spring, but if it works, it works! Be sure to try: denim playsuits, pinafore dresses and embellished denim.

There is a vaguely seventies mood in the air – suede is an easy fabric to work with. I love this mini skirt I picked up recently!

Crop Top & ladylike skirt
The crop top has been around for a few seasons now, but FINALLY it’s being worn in a lady like fashion. Remember: subtlest flash of flesh is sexy. You don’t need to show it all!

Spring Beauty Trend For Spring
I have started to lighten up my makeup looks for Spring. I have been steering clear of dark lipsticks or over dramatic colours. You would have also noticed I am a blondey / brown colour now too! It’s so nice to be a little lighter for the warmer weather. The best I can describe my colour is: It’s not blonde, it’s not brunette. It’s somewhere in-between – bronde! It’s really low maintenance colour and achieved really easily at home with L’Oréal Paris Préférence Glam Lights.
Neutral colours work best for Spring. I am loving light pink hues.
A nice white, nude or coral works best for Spring!
A neutral soft look with a fine lined eye or a pop of colour on the lid works well! I am going to do some tutorials really soon, so stay tuned!
