A sweater dress is one of those nearly magical pieces you don’t realise you need in Spring until you purchase one, and then you can’t stop wearing it. I haven’t been able to take this one off.

Sweater dresses equal no-fuss dressing. You don’t have to worry about too much when it comes to putting together an outfit before you run out the door in the morning. You don’t have to worry about layers, about matching an entire look – all you have to do is worry about if you’re dressing it up or going for a sport-y chic look (which in my books almost always wins).

If you follow me in Instagram you’ll notice that I have been loving a sweater dress lately. I also have a cream knit style sweater dress – I love the relaxed silhouette of both. I wore it last entire look last night to trivia (we lost – BOO), only I put on some wet look jeans underneath, as it was too chilly for bare legs.

One suggestion: Always go a size up so you have a great over-sized fit!

You could also style your dress like this

Ribbed, chunky knit. Wear with minimal accessories and a tan heel or ankle boot.

Keep it casual like I did today with a pair of white sneakers and a simple bag and killer sunglasses.

Untitled-10 Over-sized with a knee-high boot is such a gorgeous look. It is sexy and really simple to pull off, no matter what your body type is.
