JD and I joined forces again to bring together a beautiful editorial, filled with lace, soft light and the most magical backdrop. It was like re-living our wedding day, some 9 months later.
I have been well aware of Grace Loves Lace for quite some time – pre marriage and pre moving back to NSW. For the short while I lived in QLD, I became obsessed with finding local gems and local gals who had initiative and had the motivation / drive to path the way to their own success.
See, I like a go-get attitude. Tell me I can’t do something and watch me prove you wrong.
Grace Loves Lace was a label that I have watched from the inception. I don’t think Megan of Grace Loves Lace knows this, but in my modeling days I even went to a casting for her mother’s label. Fashion definitely runs in their family.
It was so nice to shoot this feature for the Grace Loves Lace website with JD – we’re approaching our 8 year anniversary next week and to be able to work alongside him is a dream come true. Man, What a star he is. Substance wouldn’t be the same without the hours he puts into projects or taking photos and I am thankful each day he has supported my dreams / creativity. For us to be able to do something we love and to be able to do it together is such a great feeling.
So without further adieu, here is our latest project. Be sure to check out the full article on Grace Loves Lace. There is a full interview and it will give you a little look into my life, my thoughts and how Substance came about.
