This collection is a little bo-ho and offers extremely wearable pieces.
When it comes to designers, Chloé is one that is at the front of my mind each season. Chloé S/S 2015 is the epitome of French-girl-chic – the intricate lace detailing on the dreamy white dresses have me longing for hot weather – especially with this lackluster weather I can see from my office window at present.
A slight 1970’s vibe echoes throughout these pieces – I love the undone hair and fresh faced approach to make-up. This all makes the collection feel practical and not unreachable for thee everyday girl – a girl like me. I can picture the floaty dresses worn throughout the day, thrown over a bikini as much as I can see them paired back with statement heels for a wedding or night out at a bar. I think that is key for fashion at the moment – as a consumer I like to know a piece I buy will get as much wear as possible, instead of thinking about the amount of dust it will collect after the one wear I’ll get out of the impulsive buy. Because let’s face it, that dress I wore on Friday night is still on my floor – aka floor-drobe.
Maybe after I am married in four weeks I will miraculously become cleaner and domesticated?
*Who am I kidding*
Here are my favourite looks!
